Earlier this week, he was spotted rolling up to Old Siam “just as happy hour was ending at 7:30 [p.m.],” gasps our tipster. “Unfortunate for him; great deals on killer mixed drinks.”
Blumie was meeting a “dude” for some eats.
Old Siam is one of his favorite places, Blumenauer spokesman Derek Schlickeisen tells HOH. His other favorite? Johnny’s Half Shell.
Wednesday, the Congressman was spotted performing at the DC Improv, delivering his stand-up routine to raise money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure charity. The Blums also hosts his own annual comedy roast, which Schlickeisen claims is “hilarious.”
We’ll be the judge of that, sir.
Recently, the biking lawmaker was spotted filming a segment of the PBS special “Earth: The Operator’s Manual.” PBS, Blums? Really? Isn’t that a wee bit predictable.
“Basically [the PBS show] focuses on clean energy and other ecofriendly initiatives, hence our involvement,” Schlickeisen explains.
During the taping, the Congressman received a phone call and Washington’s own “Where’s Waldo” pulled his bike over to take it — because safety first.
