Singer and entrepreneur Jay Z is in an “Empire State of mind” for his home state’s former senator.

Hillary for America announced that the star will headline a get-out-the-vote concert days before the election on Nov. 4 in Cleveland.

According to the news release, Jay Z will be joined by special guests to show unity for Hillary Clinton.

Trump’s golf course could take a hit

Democratic Sens. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania, Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, and Edward J. Markey of Massachusetts said in a letter to the United States Golf Association that the 2017 Women’s U.S. Open should not take place at a Donald Trump-owned golf course.

They said the USGA should send a message that “our nation will not tolerate nor do business with any company that condones or excuses action that constitutes sexual assault.”

The tournament is scheduled for July 10-16 next year at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

A Clinton problem?

The conservative super PAC America Rising released a video entitled “The Hillary Clinton Problem” that ridicules Democrats for not finding fault in their party’s presidential nominee on the issue of trust.

The group said in a news release that the “most ridiculous remark you can make in a House or Senate debate is one praising Hillary Clinton’s trustworthiness.”
