The ‘Egyptian Jon Stewart’ and staffer shuffle

The Home Court charity basketball game when the Hill’s Angels, made up of members of Congress, take on Georgetown Law faculty and staff, a.k.a. the Hoya Lawyas, is tonight.

It’s the 30th annual matchup, which raises money for The Washington Legal Clinic for the Homeless. Tickets are $15.

On the Hill’s Angels’ roster are: Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., and Reps. André Carson, D-Ind., Brad Wenstrup, R-Ohio,  Ryan A. Costello, R- Pa., Ro Khanna, D-Calif., James R. Comer, R-Ky., Jeff Denham, R-Calif., and Del. Aumua Amata Coleman Radewagen, R-A.S.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and tipoff is at 8 p.m. at Gonzaga College High School (19 I St. NW). Watch for HOH’s coverage.

Bassem Youssef films screening

Sara Taksler, senior producer at “The Daily Show,” on Tuesday screened her independent film “Tickling Giants,” the story of comedian Bassem Youssef, otherwise known as the “Egyptian Jon Stewart.” In addition to its screening at the Atlantic Plumbing Cinema (807 V St. NW), it was shown in 16 other cities.

Staffer shuffle

Brian Worth is joining Franklin Square Group, a technology advocacy firm, as a partner. He previously worked at Uber, leading its advocacy efforts in Congress, and before that, he was the coalitions director for House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif.
