This election season, Animal Planet is trying to “Make Adoption Great Again.”

In a new campaign, the cable channel is grabbing people’s attention with 2016 election swag to encourage them to “visit a local shelter to adopt your own Democat or Repuplican today. Whatever you choose, it’s the right choice.”

It's sending out pins and T-shirts for people to wear and take selfies and then share with the hashtag #AdoptNow.

Also, save the date for Animal Planet’s Puppy Bowl, which celebrates rescue animals during the Super Bowl, on Feb. 5.
