President Barack Obama is the butt of many jokes about how much he has aged over the last eight years.

BodyLogicMD took a look at how presidents, presidential hopefuls and first ladies have aged. They found that Obama’s perceived age has almost always been much lower than his actual age, both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush were always perceived as older than their actual age, and Hillary Clinton’s perceived age was more than 10 years younger.

It also built an interactive tool to show how anyone would age under the pressure of the presidency. See the full report to find out how ungracefully you would age and check out Clinton and President-elect Donald Trump’s perceived ages.

Happening this weekend

On Saturday, a new exhibit opens in the National Gallery of Art (Sixth Street & Constitution Avenue Northwest) entitled “Stuart Davis: In Full Swing.” Davis is an American modernist from the early to mid-1900s.

“Some 100 of his most important, visually complex, jazz-inspired compositions will be on view,” the gallery said in a release. “Davis rarely painted a work that did not make careful reference (however hidden) to one or more of his earlier compositions. This exhibition offers a new exploration of his working method.”

Spotted

Sen.-elect Kamala Harris, D-Calif., was heading toward the Dirksen Senate Office Building subway with an escort, and, upon spotting Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., pointed and gawked. She walked up to one of the reporters talking to McCain, tugged on his arm, and asked him a question. She then turned and hopped on the subway.

Overheard

“They’re harming the military and will do great damage to the military and our ability to defend the nation. That’s why they’re idiots.”
