Heard on the Hill

The congressman spent his weekend falling 12,000 feet. What’d you do?

The sky is the limit for Rep. Jeff Duncan

If Rep. Jeff Duncan looks a little winded today, it might be because he fell 12,000 feet from a helicopter this weekend.

The South Carolina congressman stopped by the Cancer Association of Anderson’s “Hot Air Affair: Rising Above Cancer” on Saturday — an event that supports cancer survivors and their families.

The bloodcurdling free fall didn’t keep the first-time skydiver from going tandem with the Special Forces Association Parachute Team. In fact, he told a local news affiliate he’s “always wanted to do it.”

That’s great and all, but we’ll just continue enjoying the view from down here.
