Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., hit the presidential campaign trail over the weekend roughly 3 inches taller than usual.
New York Times’ reporter Michael Barbaro tweeted two photographs of the 2016 hopeful, showing his black boots with a serious heel.

Rubio is 5 feet 10 inches tall. On Fox News in March, commentator Ann Coulter quipped that Rubio and Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., are as tall as her iPod, adding that Republicans cannot run a short candidate.
