The independent publishing house expects to release its illustrated look at former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush this August.
The latest installment in the “Political Power ” series appears to focus on Bush’s role in the family business — a tradition that includes former presidents 41 and 43.
Writer Michael Frizell and artist Joe Paradise attempt to unwind the Republican scion’s colorful backstory, covering everything from the legendary exploits of his grandfather, Prescott Bush, to Jeb’s recreational drug use as a teen.
“For the Bush family, legacy is a powerful word, hinting of destiny made manifest and the promises of generations kept,” a plug for the upcoming title posits. “Can Jeb forge his own legacy?”
Publisher Darren Davis told HOH his team spent this year’s Comic-Con trying to work out a television deal for a separate project. But they’ll be back at the drawing board soon enough; a book about Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker is now slated for delivery before the end of the year.
