Actress Piper Perabo was arrested in the Senate on Tuesday for protesting at the Supreme Court nomination hearing for Brett Kavanaugh.

Perabo, known for her roles in “Coyote Ugly” and the “Cheaper by the Dozen” series said she protested because she doesn’t believe President Donald Trump should be able to nominate a Supreme Court Justice with his administration under a cloud.

“Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator in a felony criminal investigation,” she wrote.

The actress stood up and yelled during the hearing. She was immediately removed and arrested for civil disobedience.

On Monday, Women’s March tweeted a photo of Perabo during what looked like a planning session for the protest.

She also re-tweeted a number of Democratic lawmakers over the weekend about Kavanaugh.

“We can't let them roll back the progress we’ve made on women’s rights. The Kavanaugh hearings start Tuesday. We've tied up their phone lines, now let’s flood their mailboxes! Send this postcard to urge your Senator to ,” she tweeted on Saturday.

Perabo is the latest of several celebrities  arrested at the Capitol this year.

Actress Susan Sarandon was arrested at an immigration rally in June.

Actress Rosaro Dawson and Ben & Jerry’s founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield were arrested in A money in politics protest in April.
