FEC Report of Super PAC Appears Suspicious

A new super PAC has reported receiving $10,000 from a federal corporate PAC that says it has not given to the group.

A candidate or committee listing false identification of a contributor could be hiding the true identity of the donor and could face inquiries from the Federal Election Commission.

Heartland Resurgence, a new super PAC, that registered with the Federal Election Commission on May 9, has filed a midyear disclosure report covering Jan. 1 to June 30, which states it received $10,000 from Expedia Inc. PAC in Washington, D.C. No date was listed for the receipt of the funds.
