Clinton addressed both the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday, answering questions about the 2012 attack on an American compound in Benghazi, Libya.
Clinton heartily supported Corkerís call for the committee to restart the practice of passing authorization bills for the State Department, which she said could better bring in line foreign policy between the administration and Capitol Hill.
ďI know that you share our sense of responsibility and urgency,Ē Clinton told the Senate panel. ďAnd while we all may not agree on everything, letís stay focused on what really matters: protecting our people and the country we all love.Ē
