Rep. Michele Bachmann made her 2012 presidential bid official Monday morning in Waterloo, Iowa.
The Minnesota Republican had a nice boost over the weekend with a second-place showing in the Des Moines Register poll of Iowa caucuses attendees. She aims to do well in the state and has been reminding Republicans of her roots there — she was born in Waterloo.
Bachmann went live with a new website timed to the announcement.
