HOH is not written by just Neda Semnani and Warren Rojas. In a way, itís written by the entire CQ Roll Call newsroom. While swarming the Hill every day to nail down important political and policy stories, our colleagues come across a lot of fun, but irrelevant, stuff. Goofy asides, odd bits of trivia and funny anecdotes that donít fit in their stories. Rather than tell this over beers to their friends and roommates, they dutifully share this with HOH reporters who then share it with you. This is just one of many examples, from the time when a reporter ran across a particularly grumpy Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.).

Scott Brown, R-Mass., candidate for U.S. Senate in New Hampshire, holds his hand over his heart during the singing of the national anthem as he waits to take the stage for his town hall campaign rally with Sen. John McCain at the Pinkerton Academy in Derry, N.H., on Monday, Aug. 18, 2014.
