Senate Democrats Plot Next Steps for Health Care

Senate Democrats took to the talk show airwaves Sunday morning to lay out the next steps in advancing their $848 billion health care reform bill, which they successfully cleared for floor debate the night before. Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) said Saturday night’s party-line vote to begin debate on the bill was “an amazing victory” for President Barack Obama and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.).
