Senators to Offer Resolution Condemning Release of Lockerbie Bomber

Sens. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.), Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), Bob Menendez (D-N.J.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.) announced Friday that they will introduce a Sense of the Senate resolution condemning the hero’s welcome that was given to convicted Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi upon his return to his native Libya last week.
