The second time was the charm. The House easily passed the $700 billion financial rescue package Friday after it was sweetened with $150 billion in tax breaks on a 263-171 vote.

Who could blame hundreds of Members of Congress for joining with a colleague and breast cancer survivor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), in co-sponsoring legislation aimed at promoting breast cancer education?
