Former Doolittle Aide Ring Is Indicted

The Justice Department on Monday indicted Kevin Ring — former legislative director to Rep. John Doolittle (R-Calif.) and former lobbying partner of Jack Abramoff — on 10 corruption counts, alleging that Ring provided gifts to “several public officials” to reward them for taking actions beneficial to Ring’s clients.
