McConnell Tapped to Nominate Palin Tonight

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) will nominate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin for vice president tonight, the final night of the Republican National Convention.

Though Palin accepted the nomination last night, she will not be the party’s official nominee until this evening. Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) takes center stage tonight to accept the presidential nomination.
