Kilpatrick’s Son Resigning as Detroit Mayor

Embattled Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick, the son of Rep. Carolyn Cheeks Kilpatrick (D-Mich.), is resigning Thursday and will admit in court that he lied while under oath at a police whistle-blower trial, according to media reports.
