The event, which starts at 8:30 p.m., is free. This event is not a fundraiser and it is not a party even if voters remove Democrats from power, you dont celebrate at a time when one in 10 Americans are out of work and our childrens future is threatened by mountains of debt, NRCC spokesman Ken Spain said in a statement. The DCCC is holding a similar event at the Liaison Hotel on Capitol Hill, though the Democrats Election Night Watch Reception will be a fundraiser. The invitation lists three tiers of tickets. Individuals can get a single ticket for $1,000, while political action committees can get one ticket for $5,000. Two tickets run individuals $2,500 and PACs $10,000. Four tickets cost $5,000 for individuals and $15,000 for PACs.
