Ronald Reagan is considered by some GOPers to be the superhero of conservatism and now the former president even has his own comic book to prove it.
Bluewater Productions, the makers behind comic books starring President Barack Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R), released a comic book Wednesday featuring Reagan as part of its Political Power series. The comic follows the Gippers rise from B-movie actor to California governor to his eventful eight years in White House and his battle against Alzheimers disease at the end of his life.
I think the crux of the book will be the assessment of whether Reagan was simply at the right place and time when the Soviet Union fell, comic writer Don Smith said. Or was he one of the shrewdest occupants of the White House?
Bluewater isnt just looking to the GOPs past, either: The comic makers also announced this week that they will release a comic in April starring conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh.
