Some things just go together. Peanut butter and jelly. Bert and Ernie. Beer and ... firearms? Rep. Glenn Nye (D-Va.) is hosting a fundraiser at the National Rifle Association on Nov. 18 that promises good times with an evening of shooting, beer and snacks. The invite entices would-be guests to come and try out the NRAs latest in laser technology and pictures a man aiming a rifle, looking very safe with protective eyewear and ear phones and nary a can of Bud Light in sight. HOH is guessing the shooting part comes before the beer, per the NRAs brochure on gun safety, which advises no booze before or while handling or shooting guns. And apparently, theres no real danger because the laser technology doesnt use live ammunition.A Nye source tells HOH that the Congressman is a pretty good shot. Hes quite proud of his marksmanship, the Nye-er tells us. But we wonder how good he is at shotgunning a beer ...Submit your hot tips, juicy gossip or comments here.Cant get enough HOH?
