President Barack Obama on Wednesday will stage the latest in a series of events designed to drum up grass-roots support for his health care plans, holding an online town hall meeting from Annandale, Va.
The session will include a live audience and feature questions from social-networking sites like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.
Obama last week held a town hall meeting from the East Room of the White House. The event was broadcast on a single network, ABC.
Lois Lerner, director of exempt organizations for the IRS, arrives for a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing on the investigation of the IRS' targeting of political groups. Lerner invoked her Fifth Amendment right to not testify and caused a protest from some committee members when she offered an opening statement and engaged in dialogue with members before invoking the right.
