Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich pours antifreeze in his car before a day of campaigning in his Ohio district last February.
Congratulations to CQ Roll Call photographers Tom Williams and Bill Clark, who racked up three awards in the 2013 White House News Photographers Association’s National Eyes of History contest.
Williams won third place in the Campaign Picture Story category for his depiction of the member-vs.-member primary between then-Rep. Dennis J. Kucinich and Rep. Marcy Kaptur.
Williams and Clark both earned Awards of Excellence in the On the Stump category — Clark for his image of Sens. Benjamin L. Cardin and Barbara A. Mikulski at a ravioli dinner in Baltimore’s Little Italy two days before the November elections, and Williams for his image of now-Sen. Elizabeth Warren giving a kiss to former Sen. Max Cleland at a campaign rally in Beverly, Mass., in October.
Roll Call has launched a new feature, Hill Navigator, to advise congressional staffers and would-be staffers on how to manage workplace issues on Capitol Hill. Please send us your questions anything from office etiquette, to handling awkward moments, to what happens when the work life gets too personal. Submissions will be treated anonymously.
