McConnell: Congress Will Fund Department of Homeland Security

While discussing how the Senate would combat President Barack Obama's immigration actions and the impact of Wednesday's terrorist attack in Paris, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said "at the end of the day" Congress would fund the Department of Homeland Security, which runs out of money on Feb. 28.

The DHS, which was funded by a short-term continuing resolution in December, has become the focal point for congressional Republicans trying to halt Obama's executive orders on immigration issued in 2014.
