Special to Roll Call
Feb. 13, 2012, Midnight
Backing for this bill runs across the political spectrum, including Minnesota Gov. Mark Dayton (D), Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R), Minnesota Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D) and Al Franken (D), and Wisconsin Sens. Herb Kohl (D) and Ron Johnson (R).
Suggestions that the project needs to go through yet another redesign are not productive and are only meant to delay the construction of a top transportation and safety priority for Wisconsin and Minnesota. We urge our colleagues to support this important transportation project that meets the current and future transportation needs of the citizens and communities it serves.

Each year since 1990, CQ Roll Call has reviewed the financial disclosures of all 541 senators, representatives and delegates to determine the 50 richest members of Congress. This year's report, derived from forms covering the calendar year 2012, shows it took a net worth of $6.67 million to crack the exclusive club.
