Heard on the Hill: Bill Pascrell’s Boss Announcement

Bruce Springsteen announced the dates of his Wrecking Ball tour Tuesday, and Rep. Bill Pascrell got all excited, seeing as how it was a great opportunity to plug his BOSS Act, otherwise known as the Better Oversight of Secondary Sales and Accountability in Concert Ticketing Act.

Greetings from Wonky Park!

While we [have] succeeded in forcing Ticketmaster to delink primary and secondary marketplaces ... we still have a long way to go, the New Jersey Democrat said in a statement linked to Springsteens announcement.

Pascrell asks every Springsteen fan in Northern New Jersey and America to go to and let him know whether they have had any irregularities in their ticket purchases.

Pascrell first introduced the BOSS Act in 2009. His best frenemy and Democratic primary challenger after this years redistricting round Rep. Steven Rothman was a co-sponsor. At press time, there was no word yet from Rothman about the Wrecking Ball tour.
