Bill Pascrell got all excited, seeing as how it was a great opportunity to plug his BOSS Act, otherwise known as the Better Oversight of Secondary Sales and Accountability in Concert Ticketing Act.

“While we [have] succeeded in forcing Ticketmaster to delink primary and secondary marketplaces ... we still have a long way to go,” the New Jersey Democrat said in a statement linked to Springsteen’s announcement.
Pascrell asks every Springsteen fan in Northern New Jersey — and America — to go to pascrell.house.gov/bruce and let him know whether they have had any “irregularities” in their ticket purchases.
Pascrell first introduced the BOSS Act in 2009. His best frenemy — and Democratic primary challenger after this year’s redistricting round — Rep. Steven Rothman was a co-sponsor. At press time, there was no word yet from Rothman about the “Wrecking Ball” tour.
