I’m always a sucker for a good silhouette, and this is a great one of Rep. Jon Runyan catching his breath Tuesday during football practice. The former professional football player will play for the Congressional team against the Capitol Police in a charity game Oct. 12 at RFK Stadium. The lawmakers’ practice happened to be held on the first nice autumn day after weeks of rain, and the 7 a.m. start time yielded beautiful light on Runyan’s less-than-serene profile.
Roll Call has launched a new feature, Hill Navigator, to advise congressional staffers and would-be staffers on how to manage workplace issues on Capitol Hill. Please send us your questions anything from office etiquette, to handling awkward moments, to what happens when the work life gets too personal. Submissions will be treated anonymously.
