Gillibrand, first appointed when Hillary Rodham Clinton became President Barack Obama’s secretary of State, won a special election last fall to serve the remainder of Clinton’s term. The Democrat will face voters again for a full six-year term. Her Federal Election Commission report showed Gillibrand raised just $6,000 from Nov. 23 through the end of December.
