The dark-eyed Latina woman was on the Metro with you during your commute home from work. You saw the freckled boy with slightly protruding ears at the grocery store. They’re the people you’ve grown up with. Or at least they could be.

Schumer Advocates for Many on Panel

As Senate Majority Leader, Lyndon Johnson once said of the Joint Economic Committee, “It’s as useless as tits on a bull.” But as that panel’s chairman during the 110th Congress, Sen.
