The Big Lebowski is Sixth & I Historic Synagogues choice for its first-ever Dive-In Movie tonight at the Capitol Skyline Hotel. Guests should arrive around 7 and will be greeted by a complimentary White Russian drink and Dude-themed activities such as water bowling and a costume contest. Aaron Weintraub of Sixth & I says activities may continue through the showing of the movie. He is confident that enough people have seen the movie that people wont have to be silent while its running. Despite its being hosted by Sixth & I, this is a completely secular event, and Weintraub says they are hoping to draw a crowd of as many as 300 people from all over.
Tickets cost $10 in advance, available at www.sixthandi.org, and $12 at the door. The event is for those 21 years and older because a White Russian is included in the price of a ticket.
