The Capitol subway has changed a little bit since this photo was taken — 99 years ago. It’s brighter down in that tunnel today than it was back then, too. Fashions have also changed, without a doubt. Beyond Rep. Earl Blumenauer (D-Ore.), you don’t see too many bow ties on the Hill these days.
