Alaska: Young Team Apologizes for Misstatement in Ad

Rep. Don Young’s (R) campaign apologized Friday for incorrectly naming the group that awarded him the Hero of the Taxpayer Award in a radio spot. The recently released ad from Young’s campaign said that Taxpayers for Common Sense gave him the award, but a statement from Young’s campaign Friday conceded it was actually Americans for Tax Reform that commended the senior Republican.
