Pelosi Tells Smokers to Butt Out

While smoke-free advocates celebrated Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) announcement that Members would no longer be allowed to light up in the Speaker’s Lobby as of Wednesday morning, those known to enjoy a smoke break during House votes attempted to shrug off just how much they’d be impacted by the new rule.
