Reid Takes on Iraq Surge Plan

Sen. Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) plan to bring a nonbinding, bipartisan resolution to the floor next week condemning President Bush’s “surge” strategy in Iraq likely will be a major test of the new Majority Leader’s ability to face down the White House and muster bipartisan coalitions on controversial issues.
