Anti-tax activist Grover Norquist said last week that “envoys” for Sen. John McCain (R) have reached out to him several times in the past year to reach a detente in advance of the Arizonan’s likely presidential campaign — an assertion labeled “delusional” by McCain’s top political adviser.
