Settlement in FEC Case Imperils Voter Guides

In a move that could have far-reaching consequences for nonprofit groups that do election-related outreach, the Federal Election Commission Wednesday announced that it has settled charges with the Sierra Club over the improper use of organization funds during the 2004 elections.
