The Justice Department on Monday began formally prosecuting the alleged perpetrator of a wave of threatening letters with suspicious, but ultimately harmless, powders that were sent to likely Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Sen. Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) and a host of liberal-leaning media figures.

Who could blame hundreds of Members of Congress for joining with a colleague and breast cancer survivor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), in co-sponsoring legislation aimed at promoting breast cancer education?
