With his “botched joke” about dumbos serving in Iraq, Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) may have joined Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) in becoming a (part-Jewish) former ’08 presidential hopeful. As Republicans pummeled Kerry and Allen aides beat the daylights out of a heckling blogger, we wondered: Who had a worse day Tuesday, Kerry or Allen? And whose job sucked more: that of Allen’s press staff, or Kerry’s?
