As Election Nears, Some Urge Voting-System Fixes

In a bid to keep computer hackers and system glitches from turning into the hanging chads of 2006, a handful of lawmakers are using the waning hours before recess to apply legislative Band-Aids that could avoid potential Election Day meltdowns.
