Calvert Picked for Vacant Approps Seat

The House Republican Steering Committee voted Wednesday to seat Rep. Ken Calvert (R-Calif.) on the Appropriations Committee, filling the vacancy left by embattled Rep. John Doolittle (R-Calif.).
