Jefferson Vote Expected Today

Rep. William Jefferson’s (La.) fight to retain his seat on the Ways and Means Committee will come to a head this afternoon, with the House Democratic Caucus reconvening at 5 p.m. to resume debate on a motion that was tabled last week to strip him of the plum position.
