Reynolds: Corruption Issue Defunct After Bilbray Win

Fresh off a special election in which the corruption issue did not carry the Democratic candidate to victory, National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Tom Reynolds (N.Y.) predicted Friday that corruption would not be a factor in the race to succeed Rep. Tom DeLay (R-Texas), and he reiterated his belief that the Democrats will not be able to use the issue to their advantage in the midterm elections.
