To say that I was astonished by longtime conservative Richard Vigueries attack piece on President Bush in Sundays Washington Post would be putting it mildly. I understand that certain elements of the GOPs most conservative wing have their gripes. But, however disgruntled they may be, how can Viguerie expect to be taken seriously when he advocates a strategy that would elect House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to Speaker and Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) to Senate Majority Leader?
