Feathers are obviously still ruffled on both sides of the spat between Sen. Ted Stevens (R-Alaska) and CNN correspondent Joe Johns. A day after the Radio-Television Correspondents Association essentially cleared Johns of wrongdoing in what Stevens called an unethical broadcast, the Senator referred to a television producer as a “smartass” after the producer taunted Stevens about his complaint against Johns.

Who could blame hundreds of Members of Congress for joining with a colleague and breast cancer survivor, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), in co-sponsoring legislation aimed at promoting breast cancer education?
