Leaders Set Pool For Ethics Probes

In the latest sign that the House ethics committee may finally be prepared to move forward after a long partisan stalemate, Speaker Dennis Hastert (R-Ill.) and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) have each named 10 lawmakers from their respective parties to serve as part of an “ethics pool” for investigations.
