Bush Threatens His First Veto

Under pressure from Senate GOP leaders, President Bush issued a formal veto threat Tuesday against the chambers version of the fiscal 2006 supplemental spending bill, demanding lawmakers cut some $14 billion in earmarks and other spending not included in the administrations request.
