Amid an office filled with boxes and partially packed mementos, Capitol Police Chief Terrance Gainer, who after almost four years as the Hill’s top cop will mark his last day on the job today, spoke openly Tuesday about the controversy surrounding Rep. Cynthia McKinney’s (D-Ga.) alleged assault on a Capitol Police officer.
